Fall 2010

Well we finally took our Fall pictures and got some cute ones!  

I have to be honest, it wasn't easy getting good pics with all 4 girls smiling and looking at the same camera.  We sure did have fun though. 

The weather was beautiful and I think we caught it just in time before the cold front started to move in. 

Hadlee loved the leaves and wanted to eat them all of course!  Who wouldn't want to give them a little taste?

Happy Saturday to you...

I love waking up to a crisp Saturday morning in the Fall when all the leaves are changing and it is so beautiful on the family farm!  Perfect for some Fall pictures in the leaves! 

Seasons are changing and so is my little baby.  I can't believe she is 6 months old already and eating big girl food now.  Life changes so fast so enjoy every waking moment you get to be with your loved ones! 

We have a family tradition of taking pictures in the leaves at our farmhouse every year and this year all the girls have hats to wear!  We are going to be taking these this week so I can't wait to share these pics with you and make some hats for all of you too!

A great day begins with...

your baby girl looking up at you from her big crib and SMILING at you to tell you good morning!  Gotta love it!  It is Sock Monkee city in my house!  The Sock Monkee hats are really popular right now!  If you would like to order a hat for Christmas please get your order in as soon as you can!  I can't take too many more for Christmas presents!  I'm adding a new coordinating set to the site today!  Hope you all enjoy and get creative because you aren't limited to what is on the site.  Create a hat, tell me what your creation is and I'll get it done.  Hope you have a great Tuesday and try to SMILE at someone today to brighten their day!

How it all began...

My mom taught me to crochet when I was 7 years old and I've loved it ever since!  I enjoyed making hats in college but never thought I would be brave enough to try and sell them.  With lots of prayer and work I have been able to try it out with success!  I love my life, with a wonderful husband and new 6 month old baby girl, I am able to be a stay at home mom and crochet on the side!  Something I've always wanted to do!  I hope you all enjoy my designs and would love to make a hat or scarf for you or as a gift for a friend!
